  • The SQL MySQL Developer plays a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of databases, as well as the implementation and optimization of SQL queries.

  • Key responsibilities include optimizing and improving existing SQL queries for performance and scalability, monitoring database integrity and security, and performing data analysis.
  • Collaborate with software developers to integrate database functionality and trouble-shoot database related issues.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Understanding of relational database management systems and SQL principles.
  • Knowledge of MySQL database administration and development.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Experience working with database design, normalization, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of data security and compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control systems.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn continuously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of indexing, query execution plans, and database optimization techniques.
  • Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Certifications in MySQL or relevant database technologies are advantageous.
