Area Manager II

Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages annually. We are looking for motivated, customer‑focused individuals to serve as Area Manager. In this role you will lead a team of hourly employees, engage them during shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.

Key job responsibilities
  • Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
  • Collaborate with support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and perform frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels and temperatures
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
  • Experience managing a team of 20+ employees
  • Experience with process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma)
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
  • Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production or distribution

The base salary range for this position is 70,000.00 - 90,900.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Additional benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
